Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of residents such as medication and treatment oversight and administration, assessment and monitoring of health status and emergency situations, communication and follow up with M.D.s, assisting in the arrangement for varied medical services, supervision of caregivers and teaching residents and direct care staff. Provides a wide variety of resident care activities as accorded by licensure. top
Certified Nursing Assistant Performs various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of residents. Function may not exceed Standards of Practice as accorded by Certification. top
Medication Assistant Dispenses medication to residents under the direction of the Nursing Staff. Performs various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of residents. Function may not exceed Standards of Practice as accorded by Washington State Boarding Home regulations or Certification. top
Caregiver Performs various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of residents. Function does not include activities accorded a Certified Nursing Assistant. top
Housekeeper Provides a variety of housekeeping and/or laundry duties in maintaining the facility in an orderly, sanitary condition and in the collection and laundering of linens, garments and washables. top
Laundry Aide Provides a variety of laundry duties in the collection and laundering of facility and resident linens, garments and washables. top
Cook Prepares and cooks a limited variety of food for residents, employees, and visitors. May oversee the work of other food service personnel involved in cooking. top
Dietary Assistant Performs a variety of food service functions in maintaining clean and sanitary conditions of food service areas, facilities, and equipment. May assist in some aspects of food preparation. Also assists in serving residents' meals in a timely manner and resets tablets for the next meal. top
Office Manager Responsible for coordinating office services and related activities, including developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of services and equipment. Supervises central office services such as reception, filing, typing, message delivery, tours, etc. May be responsible for the employment and training of front line office staff. top
Receptionist/Front Office Assistant Greets visitors and clients coming into the facility, and directs the visitor to the appropriate area or individual. Answers, screens, and directs incoming phone calls to the appropriate department and/or individual. May make appointments and answer inquiries. May perform routine clerical, typing or keyboard duties, conduct petty cash and trust transactions, provide facility tours. top
Activities Assistant Assists in the planning, organization, and directing of activity programs for residents. Prepares reports on residents' progress as may be required. Activities may include sports, dramatics, nature study, social activities, games, and arts and crafts in accordance with residents' needs. top
Maintenance Specialist Provides a variety of routine, non-routine, and semiskilled duties in the maintenance and repair of the facility, and its grounds. top
