6th Ave Senior Living serves a younger population, mostly those in their 50’s and 60’s.<\/p>

Our passion is serving an aging population and providing affordable housing combined with honoring our staff in the process. We truly hire and promote from within at every opportunity and support top-performing staff with incentives and educational opportunities.<\/p>

Located in the heart of the 6th Ave Business District, walking distance to University of Puget Sound, 6th Ave Senior Living is in a vibrant area, a mile from Tacoma General hospital and doctor offices, and surrounded by local pubs and restaurants and on the bus line and a mile to all the arts and culture of downtown Tacoma.<\/p>

Owners’ Chad and Melanie Solvie have 25+ years experience in Senior Living, having managed not-for-profit adventures and ensuring the success of many organizations. Chad and Melanie have a passion for assisted living services to our aging population. You’ll see both walk the halls carrying mop buckets or quietly visiting with a grieving resident, or high-fiving an employee who made a great shot on the billiards table.
