FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We get commonly asked questions when an individual is highly interested in moving in. We hope this page can provide you with some answers!

Our State regulations change so frequently, so please ask for an updated version of what current requirements are. At this time, we are required to receive confirmation of COVID vaccination for all vendors and volunteers

If a resident is sick, in quarantine, or if we have a COVID lockdown, then meal deliveries occur. We are meant to be social and combat depression; thus we do not offer meal deliveries due to preference, but rather based on medical necessity.

We can provide furniture for you consisting of a bed, dresser, side table, lamp, and chair, and the kitchenette comes with a microwave and mini-fridge. You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. You can hang wall art, hang curtains, and personalize the space with your own belongings. At this time we do not personalize paint colors on walls.

Washers and dryers are on floors 3, 4, and 5, and are free to use; just bring your own detergent! We can also wash individual clothing and linens — just ask.

We are a dedicated Affordable Senior Housing Provider and can point you to funding resources. From Veterans’ funding to State funding to immediate Medicaid funding, we can work with your unique payment resources, or help you find the right financial path to pay for your services. Call our team and we can walk you through the process.

Due to city living, we are a no-pet community. However, we frequently bring in various pets and animal therapists to give our residents the love and support animals provide.

Medication administration occurs at mealtimes; Residents pass by the medication carts first during mealtimes. Nighttime medications are delivered by a medication technician.

In addition, we require prescriptions from your doctors, even for over-the-counter medications like eye drops. We understand this can be annoying for families, but it is a regulatory requirement for us, and ensures your loved one receives proper, prescribed medication at all times.

When bringing any medications with you or to your loved one at Cascade Park Vista Assisted Living, always provide them in their original pill bottles – not a day-of-the-week planner!
