We get commonly asked questions when families finally make the decision to make the move. We hope this can answer a lot for you!

Our state regulations change frequently, so please ask for an updated version of what current requirements are. We are currently required to receive confirmation of COVID vaccination for all vendors and volunteers at this time.

If a resident is sick, in quarantine, or if we have a COVID lockdown, then meal deliveries occur. We are meant to be social and combat depression; thus we do not offer meal deliveries due to preference, but rather based on medical necessity.

We provide all the furniture. You bring the clothes. You can hang wall art, hang curtains, and personalize the space with your own belongings. At this time we do not personalize paint colors on walls. Here is a basic list of what items to bring or not bring.

We are a dedicated Affordable Senior Housing Provider and can point you to funding resources. Here is our current Rate Sheet. From Veterans’ funding to State funding to immediate Medicaid funding, we can work with your unique payment resources, or help you find the right financial path to pay for your services. We are a no-pet community but instead bring in pet therapy to support the love an animal provides. For therapeutic ideas on enhancing your loved one’s experience, here is a list of ideas of items you can buy and provide for your loved one.

 

We need prescriptions from doctors even for over-the-counter medications like eye drops. Annoying for families but a regulatory requirement for us. Always bring medications in original pill bottles, not a day-of-the-week planner.

Our New Horizons program is the first licensed in the State to serve people with severe dementia who have been hospitalized for weeks, months, and even some, years. Traditional memory care is not equipped for certain types of dementias and behavioral health services, so we + the State of Washington created this new program to get people out of hospitals and into a quiet and more appropriate setting.
